Neon SRT4
I am thinking about getting rid of my '00 Dakota quad cab and purchasing a new '05 Neon SRT4. I am worried about not having 4WD when it rains and when ther might be ice or snow (although it doesn't happen often in Dallas).
Anyway, just wanted to see if anyone out there had any opinions to sway me one way or another. Or should I maybe look into the Jeep Liberty. |

The Srt-4 is a great car. There are tons of people who drive it in less than cali weather all the time. for specifics on the SRT-4 just ask me or check out www.srtforums.com

I have an SRT-4, and I live just south of Chicago . . .
in the snow, it is a little rough, but if you are really concerned about it you should buy new all-season/winter tires. Being FWD, helps the snow cause a little, but still . . . the BF Goodrich tires that come with it get an average of about 2 out of 5 for snow handling. One thing to check out is if the '05 SRTs come with the 70k powertrain warranty, for some reason I thought I heard somewhere that they don't. Don't quote me on it though. |
