Dyno 2000
Can anyone E-Mail me a copy of Desktop Dyno 2000.
I have it on 3.5" floppy, but my new computer only has a CD/DVD drive, and my old computer is in storage. I want to check out some cam profiles on it for my friends 440 build-up. Oh, My E-Mail is: j.grosso@ix.netcom.com |

I went to a computer shop and noticed they sell external 3.5" USB drives for around $40. I'm thinking of getting one, but does anyone sell a dual drive setup for both floppy formats?
Sorry this got into computers and not cars. BTW - Here is what I am working on: 1970 Charger street car with 440, 727, A/C, Power brakes, etc. The owner wants a dependable cruiser with a bit of engine lope so it sounds good, but still wants decent gas mialage and vacuum for the A/C and brake system. Also, we want to run on cheap pump gas. To keep costs down on the engine build, I am providing a set of 906 heads that were on an old project of mine. The heads only have stock sized valves, hardened seats, new guides, etc. Modifications includemilling 0.040" off the heads (shop says they are 78cc?), back-cut valves and mild porting. The porting is mostly in the bowls, but the ports are gasket matched and cleaned up. The heads have Crower Dual springs. I believe they are the #68340 springs with a rate of 452 lbs/in and a seat pressure around 130? The cam I am thinking of using is the Hughes #2328 with 223/228 duration at 0.050", 0.506"/0.524" lift on 111 LSA. I haven't chosen pistons yet, but I am thinking of setting up the compression to about 9.5:1? Any comments on this setup? anyone have a known good combination for this application? |

4/29/05, lifted the engine up and into the bay with the wifes help. We spent the day muscleing the engine and tranny around and slam duncked some headman Elites in at the same time. Starter is real hard, but figured it out. Very tight, very tight. See new thread for more. |

These dual media floppy drives are getting more and more rare...it's getting to the point now where some computers have floppy drives as an option. I can't really seem to find these drives new any more. Good luck. |
