Default ATTN: Holly DP experts "SOS"

I have a holley 750 dp that I bought from a buddy who was going to a dominator. The carb was built for his application which is as follows
340, Batton Heads, 600+ cam, 5000 stall 600+ horsepower.

My buddy said this carb worked flawlessly.
when I installed this on my car
340, eddie headed, Air Gap intake, 507 lift cam, 3500 stall. 450hp
I have a bog when I floor it. My question is what Changes "squirters or any other" should I make to the carb to get it more in line with my combo???
thx Ted

Can you tell if you are getting too much fuel or too little?
Since your friend had a more radical setup, the carb and accelerator is probbably too rich. The easy way to adjust the accelerator squirt is by changing the accelerator pump cam(s).

Just make sure to doube check fuel float levels before making changes to the carb.

guess it's a lean bog. is it same reaction if you cruise at let's say 30mph and then floor it? or is it just a bog when you smash the pedal from idle?

bog when driving, I would get a bit richer on the secondaries
bog vhen pedal to metal, I would try more accelratorpump

just my tip. not a expert, but trixed some whit'em

It seems to bog both at idle and while driving.

I'll go with 451Mopar on this one. You didn't say anything about it spitting back at you (backfire through carb) so it's probably too rich. Try smaller shooters first then pump cams. Possibly has big pumps for his big cam and you will need to go back to std for your milder setup.
