Default Need safe way to depressurize fuel lines on '83 Imperial

I'm in the process of swapping my EFI setup for a Edelbrock Performer and a DemonSizzler-built Thermoquad. After the car sat in my garage for 5 months, I finally started to tinker around with it today. I removed the breather and EFI controller. Then I got to thinking, I'd better not go much further because the lines are probably still pressurized. I looked in my shop manual that came with the car, however the electrical and fuel systems are in a separate book that I don't have.

What is a good way to depressurize the line? I don't want to end up spraying gas everywhere.

Pinch a ziplock bag over the schreader valve on the fuel rail. Push the pin in through the bag with a dull object. If any fuel comes out, itll be contained in the bag. Not much should be in there.
