?air shocks?
I need to lift the rear of my Dart 2" to fit give a little extra tire clearance . I know I've read before , some strong negatives about using air shocks but I can't remember what the reasons were . It sure would be easier and probably cheaper than new overarched leafs . I need some feedback here . Thanks guys!

Air Shocks
I have a set of Monroe Air shocks on my street/strip 74 Duster and I love them. Stay away from the Gabriel brand as they will not hold up the car for long.

I would do it right and go to ESPO and get a new pair of rear springs that will provide the needed ride height and then use a good pair of performance shocks. I stay away from air shocks, when possible,

Air shocks place the weight of the car on a place that was never designed to carry that weight; the spring perches are where the weight should be placed, not the shock crossmember.

I vote for over arched also. Air shocks are a really crappy ride compaired to the springs. Taking them off of my car is one of the best things I ever did.
ee: air shocks

I've seen more than once where the shock mounts tear out from air shocks.
