Default Titanium Retainers (Pros and Cons)

I plan on buying a set of retainers for my heads and was wondering if titanium retainers are worth the extra cash. What are the pros to titanium retainers, other than being extremely strong??? and what are the cons, beside being really expensive????

Strong, light weight but exspensive. If your not turning 8 grand you don't need them.

In most cases they are overkill, but their use is not only rpm related, there are several other factors too. They shouldn't harm anything either, I have used mine for 10 years now. And initially bought them since they were "needed" with my cam according to Herb Mc Candless, and I had a peak at about 6000.
