Challenger Rims - sizing
Sorry if this is the wrong Forum but got no response in the Wheels forum
I want to replace the 14 inch rims I have with 15 inch. Thinking of getting Magnum 500 rims. 1. What is the correct series for MOPAR ? 2. Who is a good source to buy them from ? 3. If I use 7 inch rims on the front and 8 inch on the back what back spacings should I opt for so that there is no interference with the fenders or inside wheel well. 4. Any recommendatiosn on tires as well would be appreciated. Note; I curently have old 14x8 Keystone Klassics rims on the back. They rub slightly on the outer edge of the tires and fender. Cragar make a replica Keystone Klassic 14x7 rim with 3.5" backspacing. I determined this would give me approx. 1 - 1.5 inch clearance from the rear fender edge. I could just go with them and stay with 14 inch rims. However I prefer the tires to be out as far as possible with no rubbing and there are no other viable options with the Cragar rims. |
