Challenger - Diff upgrade
Currently have a stock '489' casing 3.23, openend diff in my Challenger. Have been quoted $750 for 'Posi' replacement (Installed). Includes an Auburn unit. Haven't decided on whether to go with 3.55 or 3.91 gears.
I know very little about all this. Does the price sound reasonable ? Anything I should be wary of ? Also will be driving a little bit of the highway. Is 3.91 gears too extreme ? Running a fresh 383 in the car, with a 2800 TCI stall converter. |

Figure your highway RPM's and dont let them go below 2800 or youll be slipping the whole way. I have about a 27 tall tire and 3.91's and Im at 3500 at 65MPH
