Question Sig Erson cam for 440

Hi everyone I'm new here. I have a question about a new (in the box)cam I have. It is a Sig Erson#E410421,box says for a 440,grind hi,Flow hi.

I am hoping someone can tell me what it is,I want to use it in a street motor but I need to know more about it before going any further. I was told it was going into a street 440,but the guy gave up on the project.

I cannot find any catalogs or info on Sig Erson to talk to them. My understanding is that Sig Erson is part of Mr Gaket Co. but I can't get a response there.

On the cam itself are #'s 185 and 180 cast into the shaft,I believe that is what is there. I hope some of you can shed some light on this issue.

This probably isn't the proper place to introduce myself ,I'll check on the protocol before I do that. Thanks, anything you can share with me will be much appreciated.

Here is a link to showing some of the specs:

Is you car a auto or stick? I'm no cam expert but it seems like a lot of duration for a street car without much stall.

Smile Sig Erson cam

Thank you for the info on the cam. It was very helpful. I will see how it fits with my plans for this motor,it might just work out.

I am going to run a 727 trans. Haven't decided on rearend gears yet, depends on tire size, etc.

This is a fun project. This car is taking on a personality of its own already,it's fun to see them evolve into a new car again.

Sounds like you are getting close to finishing your '37 good luck on that, and thanks again.
