Default Desperate for another

I am desperately seeking a 86-88 Dodge Daytona Shelby Z 2.2 turbo. Due to unforseeable events I lost mine, and never have been able to find a replacement. As long as its in running condition with a straight body, I am extremely interested.

Thanks!

Too bad I did't know about it. I think I would do just about anything for another.

I have an 88 Shelby Daytona I would sell. It is a 2.2 intercoooled turbo with a 5 speed trans and a cloth interior. The interior is nice but the exterior needs paint due to the original paint peeling in some areas. It has about 73k miles on it. I have owned it for about 10 years and it has been in storage all that time.
The thing that makes this car special is that it is a pilot car, the very first 88 Daytona made. (+ it's a Shelby model!). It was made in June of 87. The serial # ends with 00001. It also has a tag under the hood with 1988 C1 PILOT on it. Most pilot cars were destroyed, seldom did any ever get into the hands of the general public.
Due to it's unique status I have priced it at $4500.
There are a few pics on my website;

Click on photo #s 13 to 17. When you click on a photo #, it opens a new window. Just close that window to go back.
Thanks,
Dallas

It sounds awesome and looks good too from what I could see. I wish you weren't 8 hours away.... other than the distance, that is perfect. Wish I could take it off your hands, but its too far. I'll let anyone I know looking for a daytona what you've got. Thanks for letting me know.
