Default '87 Shelby Lancer in the midwest

I'm in need of a '87 Shelby lancer. Mine had an engine fire and I need a lot of parts under the hood. Anybody ?

Wait, I think I know your car, if I remember right it was a pretty nice one too It isn't the one shown is it? I may have taken this pic shortly after you bought it a couple of years ago. What caused the fire? I seem to remeber the former owner of the one shown having an unusualy large amount of problems with it for some reason, too many to keep it as a daily driver. I'm sorry to hear about your problems good luck!

I've got a couple of parts left over from my Lebaron GTS (the one in the avitar) and you may try to get in contact with Jason Trotter from the local SDAC chapter, so what do you need for it?

Idea '87 Shelby Lancer parts

I belong to SDAC-Chicago and they help me out a lot. I'm the only one though that has a Shelby Lancer. Everything plastic melted pretty much. I think if I do repar it I would want another Shelby Lancer for parts. It is tough finding one that is reasonable and close.
So I think I will turn my attention to my '89 Lebaron GTS with a 2.5 with turbo automatic. It ran low on oil because a cam seal blew out. It is knocking, but it only has 29,000 miles on it and it looks new. Do you rebuild engines?
Where do you live I have never seen you at our monthly SDAC meetings in Westmont, Il. ?

No I'm afraid I don't rebuild engines, I used to belong to the CHicago Chapter, but let that fall by the wayside after my Lebaron (Old age, and LOTS of rust) and Shadow (low oil too) gave up. I never had much chance to go to the meetings and the only time I had to meet up with the club members was at the Koller Dodge/CMC show and the Belvidere/CMC show. I live in West Chicago and work at the Aurora HobbyTown USA on Mondays and the St. Charles HobbyTown USA the rest of the time.

Default Hey, Joe!

I do rebuild engines, both stock and modded. Do you want this one rebuilt? I specialize in head work, even on the tutus. Ican even tickle it up in the ports for ya a little. Let me know, man. Sorry that happened to you. :-) PCRmike
