Default more problems

Engine builder got started back assembling of engine, assembled rings to pistons, rods, pins and rod bearings. He installed the right bank of pistons first and went to left bank to install the rest. Dropped in first piston and rod side clearance between the two was .004 - next was .005 and so on was too tight. Now he has to disassmeble all rings, start at top down to oil ring and spacer to remove piston pins for disassembly. All 8. Have to sent out the Oliver Rods for machine work.rods are too fat or the Scat Crank journals are too small. the rod side clearance should be from .008 to .016

Well I guess I am eating more problems from the rotating mass I bought.

the quick fix was dissasemble the rings ,pins from the rods and get the rods shaved for the clearances. the oliver race rods were to specs and the crank rod journals were not. since the crank and cam are already dialed in with the mildon gear drive this would be the quick fix.
