Default Valve spring setup for RB MP 509 Cam...

Can any one find the seat pressure and installed height of the valve springs when used with the MP 509 for a big block? Strangely enough, this information apparently is not on my cam card.

Thanks!

The springs are MP - P5249848. This should really only be needed if Mopar rates thier springs by installed height=seat pressure though. Should be transparent which springs are used when the seat pressure and open pressure are what is needed.

Thanks for the replies..

If you havent already installed that cam, do yourself a favor and get a different cam. Its an alright cam but there are many more out there making much more power with the same mild manners. That cam was designed in 1934 give or take a few years

I bought that cam to save money since this is my low buck 440... I have about $350 in cam, lifters, pushrods, springs, retainers, and locks. I went the Racer Brown route for my 318, but I'm just throwing together a 440 to get the car switched over for now. It is my understanding that the .509 cam was reworked in the 90's, and then got a new MP part number.

Anyone have any resources that I call or email to find this out?
