Billy G. (not sure of his screen name here) is running high 8's in a '70 Challenger with E-heads.

Really soon there will be multiple heads to choose from Edelbrock.

There is a Victor level cylinder head going to be coming out real soon. So whether you are street/strip guy or a pure strip racer, there will be a Edelbrock head for you.

Out of the box RPM heads propably can make about 600 hp at max (naturally aspirated), The best ported ones with MW port size have been at least in 725 hp level, but at that level there are better heads to use. the Victor BB heads should be interesting for high hp applications if they can keep the price even half as reasonable as that of the rpm's. Keep inmind, that it really isn't important how much you can take hp out with a certain heads, because at that point you most likely could pick up a way more with another head. I think a good power level for BB rpm heads is 400-550 true hp, above that you might do better with another head.

Only big blocks for now. I think it's time they did an offset rocker small block, but I don't know if its on their to-do list.

Best advice I can give is to get as many people as you can to call the Edelbrock tech line and request it.

Tried that with the Air Gap Performer manifolds we would like to have seen for Poly engines... didn't even get so much as an e.mail in response...

Guess we'll have to make our own.

HUMM POLY AND AIR GAP you must have been only person, lots of different people request a product that they can make enough copies to return investment cash.

Default LA has better chance than Poly

I assume asking for Mopar LA small block stuff has way more chance of getting into production than Poly. There is a much larger market for LA related parts.

Some people have good reason to build a Poly...

In our case, it's required by the regulations to use the original type of head and block. For others it's originality of the car.

Anyway, I'll make patterns and cast our own. If anyone wants one we can make more for them.

I also think you might be surprised at the ultimate power potential of the Poly when our development moves along a ways... it's got a pretty good head...

Good point i have ran one before but lack of parts and it was heavy were factors so I swapped to a B block 383 mag motor.

We're trying to find out how the weight compares...

While we're committed to running the Poly, many are telling us that the big block is lighter. I can't believe it... do you have any idea?
