318 stroker build
I have a 67 318 block that is .030 over and a crower forged crank with a 4.00" stroke, I am looking to get max horsepower out of this little thing as I can, my first prolem is the cranks rods are 2.00", not 2.125 like they should be, crower made the rods a bit under but I got a great deal because of that, can I use chevy rods which are 6.125, but there goes my idea of running the diamond pistons with a zero deck clearance, I am trying to rum a compresion around 10.5-11.5, and does any body make a custom rods. I am very well connected to crower and scat but dont want to bother them quite yet. money isn't the object yet, just take my time and save it up. thanks for any help.

steve, that is ideal as it is small journal chev size. plenty availiable and better prices than mopar as a rule, due to the volume of sales. im having my poly crank turned down to that and will use eagle 6.3" lightweight h beams. almost any length from 5.7 to 6.3 availiable. look on eagles site under chev s/b rods.
