Just bought a fiberglass hood with a 6-pak scoop for my 72 Dart. Any tips of tricks on installing? Thanks for the info.

it didnt come with springs, its a lift off style. I bought it at a yard sale. I'm not sure if it can be hooked up to hinges with low tension springs or not. Anyone ever tried?

If the hood doesn't have reinforcements built into it, or, if it has holes in each corners for mounting, then it's a lift off hood. You can always reinforce it yourself, by getting some fiberglass square tubing, making a frame and gluing it in place....
