Default '69 RR/GTX crossmember fit '67 GTX

Will a 4 speed crossmember from a '69 RR/GTX fit a '67 GTX? Thanks.

I don't believe it will.

The '67 GTX and '69 GTX/Road Runner bodys are not the same. In '68, the B-Body platform underwent a body redesign.

Unfortunately, I don't have a parts interchange manual to verify.

Anyone?

What are you trying to do?

If you are doing a 4 speed swap, the auto cross member from the 67 nwill still work with the 4 speed.

I've converted 3 cars, 2 B's(one a 66 charger) and an E and I used the original cross member in all 3 cars.

This is not etched in granite but I think the front sub is the same from '65 or '66 thru '72 which includes the tranny crossmember. There were 2 styles of mounts so you would need the proper year mount for the unit you use.
