suspension
anyone ever hear of "Energy Suspension" products?
I have found their website and it looks like they sell a wide variety of good suspension products at reasonable price. any thoughts? SIde note: just changed a bushing on my upper control arm. let me tell you what a fiasco that was. My '73 Swinger caused some problems but nothing a good hacksaw couldnt over come. THe replacement bushing they sold me came in a metal sleeve that looked like it belonged in place. well it would not fit in the control arm with the sleeve in tact, so we had to cut it off with a hacksaw. by the way, anyone know where to get new control arms for a '73 Dodge Dart? ive used energy suspension pieces in a number of cars, and love them.
im assuming the bushings youre talkin about are the uppers, in which case they were meant to be pressed in, and the old sleeves removed. this is ll done with a press, or very creative use of tools and vices. on the control arm side, many manufacturers make tubular replacement upper control arms for a-bodies. for a stock, you might try master power brakes. michael |
