Default Windage tray for a 451 stroker & other questions

Im in the process of building a 451 and I already bought ARP main studs for a vehicle equipped with a windage tray. My question is, do I need a special windage tray that I can bolt to the mains or can I just use a regular windage tray? Also if I need a special one, who sells it? Ohh and since Im asking, what cam are you guys running in your 451s? Im looking for street cam and have been eyeballing the Hughes 2328 with 1.6 rockers, does it seem like a good cam? and how much hp can I expect out of it? The engine will have around 10.5:1 compression and mildly ported heads. Thanks

I think the block skirts are the same for a 383 and a 440 so a crank scraper or stock windage tray can be used.

My 451 was just finished this week, its not yet installed, the cam the builder put in was as follows.

cam lift-302 valve lift.491 duration@.050 228
cam lift-308 valve lift .522 duration@.050 234

He said I could have gone bigger with the cam but I'm using stock ported heads, thermoquad carb, and a performer edelbrock intake until I can scrape up more funds.

the stock windage tray will work fine with strokes up to 3.75", which is stock 440/hemi. if you have a 4.15" stroke, stock still works with a couple of light hammer taps in a couple of places. more stroke than that you need the bigger tray.................djs

The guy who built mine told me the stock tray would not fit, maybe he just forgot to install until he had it already assembled.
