Default 8.25 problem

Hello all,This friday I pulled the 8.25 rear from my parts 75 RR to start the rebuild, now a mistake by me is I already purchased a new suregrip and 3.91 gears with an installation kit for the build.Well i pulled the rear apart and started checking old parts to new and found my new parts have a larger bearing on the carrier, all other parts are the same.I just went to the catalog and supposedly I have the right parts for my rear.My question is how can I tell if the rear in my restored 75 rr is the larger bearing size or not? Also where did they change the bearing sizes? My unit is a 27 spline as are the new parts with the larger bearings,Thanks for any help

Never mind guys I found my own answer,Randys ring and pinion lists an A-B axlesstarting in 76 they changed to the larger bearings, unfortunately I bought my parts from Ratech and they only offer 1 kit and do not even have a reference to the different bearing sizes so hopefully I can get my money back for the parts and I guess attempt to swtch to a 8.75 if I can find the correct one, thanks guys
