Default wirung dummy here

Hi all, I have 71 demon with ballast resistor and orange box. The car has been running fine, but i just noticed the ballast resistor is not hooked up. I found the brown wire wrapped up around the harness, turned the key on put a test lite on and there is power there, so hooked up to resistor , tested on the empty port of the single ballast resistor and yup power there. Problem is I can,t seem to find the other wire for the resistor anywhere. Do I just run a wire from the + side of the coil for this? What gets me is the car is running fine. I also have the mopar black coil, thanks from wiring dummy, Tim

if you don't use the resister you will burnout the coil. go by two of them- one to replace the one that is there ( reason it was diconnected is that it propley gave out when it was warm) and one spare in the glove box!!!

here is a pic of a 72- should be close!!
