Default bearings

What is ment when shopping for bearings.... half, three quarter, and full groove? and what are the fillet depth differences.100/.175 440source.com.

Full groove means the oil groove in the middle of the bearing goes 360 around the bearing, generally used on race motors for maximum oiling but may lower oil pressure. 1/2 groove means only one shell has the groove, typically the block side bearing. never heard of 3/4. Filet depth must be talking how big the filet, or radius of the bearing surface and thrust bearing surface junction. A filet here creates a stronger crank as it does not promote a stress riser as the stock crank has almost a notch. a large filet measurement means the bearing has more of the edges taken off to clear the larger filet.
