Default Question on torque converter and carb

I recently built a 340 in my 73 Cuda. I am running an Edelbrock Air-Gap intake, Hooker headers and a MP cam part #P5007695 with roller rockers. Heads have been opened up quite a bit, and should be about 10.25:1 Compression. All of this through a A518 overdrive transmission into 4.30 gears. I was wondering if the 2300 stall converter was about what I should be running and if my 600cfm edelbrock was sufficient? The car is, for now only used on the street. Any other help or improvements on this combination would be greatly appreciated!!

You could get a converter recomendation from http://www.dynamicconverters.com/ or many other places, but I think you'll like more stall myself.
On the carb, go up to 750 cfm. 600 is not enuff.
