electronics for late OD A/T swap
The specifics are: '96 dodge pick-up 360 engine, (converted to carb) in a '72 Barracuda. Currently with a 727, 3.55's.
Also have a '99 Dakota 2wd auto trans with low miles. The converter, drive-shaftand fabrication stuff are "understandable" issues to us. The electronic end of this swap isn't. Does anybody make a stand-alone trans controller set up for these yet? Thanks. |

The '95 and earlier versions of the OD automatics are easy to control with simple toggle switches but the '96 and later have electronic governors which can't be controlled with simple wiring.
'98 and later have no provisions for a speedometer. |

LA360, I appreciate it. I'll check 'em out.
John, yep, trying to work with what's laying around here, which usually the more problematic of available courses. |
