Upper ball joint removal 71 B
Hey all I have the removal tool and such, what is te easyiest way to get the upper ball joints out? Are there any secrets or does it just take a lot of horse power. I have gotten stuck on these before and even 6 foot breaker bar and three people couldn't budge these things after heating them!!!

it depends on if yours are strew in or press in , the strew in are a pain but heat them up red hot use the socket and a fence pipe 5-6 feet long on that sucker ,no seriously once you heat it it will come out, heat the arm not the ball joint.

If you don't have access to one this won't help but a rattle wrench (impact) zings them out easily but very noisy.

That was my first thought was an impact. We have a nice one at work that goes to 600 lbs and I know it would do the trick. But right now were packed up to go somewhere.

Heat really did the trick for me, came out with a regular 1/2 drive ratchet after lots of heat. Good luck!
