Idea B-block main bearing problem

Hi

I have tried to look over the internet for chamfered main bearings for my 400 stroker with aftermarket crank. B-block main size.
I have not found a single one that is for Street/strip with the space for full radius crank. Bearings like Clevite H and V series is what I seek.
I belive that I´m not the first one with the problem

So help me out I you have found a good bearing for this combo

You can always DIY with a bearing knife.

Cut the crank and rods and you can use anything you want then.

Default mains

Seems to me a few years ago I read an article on a 400 stroker build up in moper muscle magazine.i`m sure if you go to their website and do a search in their archives you will find it. At the end of rvery build up section they always list all the parts and who makes them and where to find them, including bearings and gasket sets.

Chamfer the regular ones yourself, all you need is a file and a couple of old main caps. Even the main caps are not necessary. I wonder what kind of crank you are using; we have had no need for chamfered mains in our stroker B-blocks.

The crank is one of this aftermarket cranks from 440 source with 3.9 stroke.
Sorry don´t have the means to get the size of radius.
Clevite is a good bearing even the P-series but the engine will have the capabillity to rev 7000. (Stage 6, H-profile, ross pist, roller cam etc). So I am looking for a high performance bearing.
For the B-block I have only one main bearing manufacturer and that´s Clevite P-series.
Actually I do have the capabillity to make chamfered bearings but it´s amazing that I can only find one bearing type that comes even near the word performance even that B-blocks have been produced couple of millions and strokers a the way to go this days.

That was a good idea about those magazi
