Default Proform carb 750 dp: Too Rich !!!

Hello, some use this carb? A buddy of me has a crate 360 magnum 380 hp with cams MP P5007547, 284/288dur .542/.552lift (+20hp over std cam) and ported heads with MP porting templates.
The car is a A-body and run very well but the jets in the carb are too big numbers, (now have 90 front and 98 rear). We raise the jets from 74 and the spark plug are ever brown. We thinks that air bleeds are big out the box.
Any has this trouble?

90 and 98 are simply rediculous for a crate 360. That's a relatively mild motor. Even 80 and 88 are too much. IMHO

Why did you start going up from 74? Was there a running problem?

A brown tinge at the base of the porcelain is what you want to have.

Off hand 70 and 78 would be a good place to start. Read the plugs and change 2 sizes at a time until the colour looks good.

I think the same
We raice the jets and run well, no change the plugs color and no gasoline smell

¿can the MSD burn all the extra fuel? :dis

You may want to email Marty (tech guru) at Quick Fuel. QF sells Proform items on their carbs and QF has a very good tech support for Proform. Marty has helped me over the last couple of weeks with some tuning on my Proform main body and metering blocks.

Better Look for a vacuum leak.

I don't believe that has vacuum leak, the motor idle well 900rpm and has throttle response. The ET over 300m (1000ft) is 10,86s with street tires.

I don't explain myself as it can run well with jets so great …. :confused
