Default 1978 Dodge Power Wagon

1978 Dodge Power Wagon

This truck is a great toy to play with. I have done alot of work on it and it still needs a little work. This truck runs good and is equipped with a 440 that came out of a RV and a 3 speed manual transmission w/ granny gear. Truck has 44 T/A Boggers and I have a lot of extra parts for that will go with this truck. You may contact me at michaelmerryman@earthlink.net. I am asking $3,900 OBO. This listing is for the Houston area and buyer will have to pick up.

I saw one identical to that one in a yard about two years ago. Same year and everything. I remember, because it had the clear turn signal lenses in the front that only came on the '76's. Same color, 400 engine and everything.

I pulled the factory tachometer for my '72 Special Edition D100 2wd, but I still have the clock that goes to it. My truck has the woodgrain dash as well as the woodgrain panels for the fiberglass door panels and the woodgrain centered trim that goes down the sides of the truck and over the wheel wells. It also has woodgrain in the tailgate and the cursive Dodge tailgate badge that is adhesived on. I actually found that badge attached by a hair on the back of another truck! I was excited to be able to replace mine, because they are diecast and are adhesived on (nowhere to be found, always missing). I think I'm going to drill some small pilots (not all the way through) in the back of the badge and attach some pegs with some JB weld.

If I'm not mistaken, I think I still have a spare tachometer that I picked up somewhere as well.

That is a nice truck and the price is right. If my brother hadn't bought that bronco that is now in the graveyard, he would have snapped this up quick at that price.

Nice truck!
