Weld ins are the best to use, and you can make them yourself if you have the tools. do a search for frame connectors on this site and youll find plenty of info.

You can get them from Summit Racing too. ANd get the weld in. The holes rip out on the ones that bolt in over time. I have installed bolt ins, but, I weld them in too.

As DW stated, if you use bolt ins, wled them up. The bolt holes will oval out and you're back where you started, except now you have ovaled holes...

I just bought 1 1/2 square tube, I think it was like 41 inches long, It may not be right, but my memrory acts up once and a while, and I actually remember something. I cut a chunk out of the rear frame thing and slid it in and welded it up, It welded to the t bar crossmember too. Pretty cheap.

Now has welded in Mopar bolt-ins. We first leveled the car on tall jack stands, and I mean LEVEL! We had to trim the back ends of the connectors to get them to fit snuggly against the floor pan. We then welded them fore and aft, to the front and rear sub frames. You'll have to move the parking brake cable through-hole when you do the install.

Torque boxes are a waste of time and money. Anyone with good welder and a bunch of jack stands can install frame connectors.

I used 2X3X125 steel, cut open the back frame rails slid them in as far as the steel would go, marked the length, cut off. Scribed the floor pan and cut out where the connectors would slide right in to be welded.

Welded the rear, all the top and bottom of floor pans, and front. Then added triangles in the front to the insides.

I used the frame connectors for reinforcing points, using out riggers from bar to frame connectors, for the main roll bar also. Seems strong enough and cheap.
