Default metering blocks?

I was thinking about installing metering blocks on my 6-barrel carbs so i can fine tune my carbs by changing the jets on the outside carbs. i would like info on the different types, part numbers and if possible how well they worked for you. thanks

Is there enough room for metering blocks? I have seen some, where the metering plates have been modified for changeable jets.

read in a mopar mag. a long time ago how they did the swap and rejeted the carbs for more HP gains. should be room because you are just replacing the ones that are there, i guess.

With the stock pyramid style bowls there isn't sufficient room to install metering blocks.

Promax Carbs has a metering plate that installs in the end carbs and uses standard Holley jets, the cost is less than new Holley bowls and metering blocks.

I have Speedblock metering blocks on all three of mine, but they are no longer made. I just had to use side hung floats and bowls to make room.
