Default Well after all the advice.. money talks... shifter PICS

after all the help from everyone here on what shifter they like and use i ended up with one nobody mentioned....

B&M Quicksilver...

basically a local shop was having a going out of business sale (mom and popps style.. shame to see them go)... and they had this Quicksilver shifter for 50bucks NEW in box.... so i couldnt help myself and got it...

not my FAVORITE but i like it enough and i actually like the boot design better insted of that accordian syle like i had on my megashifter before..

anyways.. im done and happy with the results.. the shift knob is ugly IMO and gonna be looking for something more my style... but overall very happy...

I mentioned that one in a recent thread. I feel for ya. That's the one that wears out the gate and hangs up in second gear and wont let it go to third. Friend had one in his chevelle (cough..cough) and it did the same thing mentioned above. Took it apart and it was unfixable. Put a Hurst in it and never looked back.

Quicksilver is basically the same as the megashifter, but with different looks. I have had good luck with them, have used them in a couple of different cars and I like them over the flimsy feeling Hurst V-matic and Promatic ratchet shifters. If you really want a shifter that will never cause you any head aches, it's hard to beet the turbo action shifter.

I guess so. At least it should last 50 bucks worth. I'd feel really sorry for him if he paid way over a hundred for it.

Good move King. I have the same shifter in my Duster and I love it. You'll like it.
