Nice video of the car. I just feel that your judgement was lacking, by doing that on city streets with other cars around.

I think your "lack of judgement" is neither here or there. If you can drive it, drive it.

If others don't like it, shoot more videos in parking lots, school / park grounds, chruch lawns, town halls lawn, and if ya got real guts, the police station. Of course, Cops can not do this and brag about it here. It's not fiar. You have an advantage, if you can do it that is. LOL

Then you block them from ever PMing you again. Or everytime they PM you with shame coments, do another video with there name for thanks for insperation.
(Give me a freaking break!!!!! Just so everybody knows now, If and when I do the same, and you don't like it, blow me! It's not like theres kids playing hop scotch in the street running in fear from a car doning burnouts down the block with parents screaming in the street trying to grab there kids.)

Joe, that's an awesome video. If you'd like, I'll post it. That way you don't have to worry about being banned or user backlash or whatever....

SAWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And I say if you want to do a burnout, go for it, just keep an eye out and be aware of your surroundings. I have done many burnouts on public streets, and I have never hurt anyone or anything except my rear tires. If I get caught (and I have) then the only person that pays the fine is me.

Heck, That is a light traffic country road compared to where Im from. Seems all my roads are 8 wide with an intersection every 1/8 mile and that never stops the ricers from mixing it up at 3PM or whenever they see each other. I never see classic muscle cars duke it out on public roads, either it is the lack of meetings, lack of good brakes or it is a respect for the law. You get caught, you lose your ride, done deal...But there always is that back stretch of pavement behind memorial stadium in Long Beach that always gets a few solo passes during the car swap meet, and I have seen on one occasion a police car enjoying the show. Keep it safe, keep your whip, ahh..ride. Oh, been pulled over once for breaking traction on an empty street, 0700 on a Sunday. Cop was more interested in what I had under the hood than what I was doing. It was its maiden voyage out of its cave after almost 1 year of modifications. He let me go BTW, slick Cuda!, love those lines and the wheels are perfect.

I didn't get a video of my first burnout with the new engine - but when I stopped there was an odd odour coming from the passenger seat where my buddy was sitting. Drive it like ya own it.

LOL, OK, Traffic could have been lighter. So what. I didn't see anything a slam on the brakes couldn't handle or a quick re-steer could fix.
The worst is you get off the gas and twist the wheel the other way.
I'm a little upset at the fact that there weren't any children running for there lives. LOL (Joking!)
Looks cool.

I tell the "Ricer wanna be kids" they need a towel to sit on in my car when I take you on a "REAL" ride.
They ask way.
I tell'em I'm tired of sueing people to re do my seats from the so called tuff guys leaving brown stains behind.
All this said with a scowl and a serious serious face while I look at them. You know, crinkle/straighten the eye brows like your mad. I also add a bit of a act on being angry / agitated. (SP) And I insist on there own towel!

Laugh Impressed!

Well, city street or not...it was a BADASS burnout! Now let's see ya take your Cuda and that video camera to Irwindale Dragstrip on a Friday Night "Run What Ya' Brung"! Plenty of space to "Burn them Balonies" at the dragstrip.

I was there and raced the BigWhiteTruck a few times....what a feeling. What an exhilaration! I did, at best, a 10.019 at Irwindale, and for a big old 4X4, I was just as happy as a clam.

Now that I'm in Texas, I'll be heading down to the local drags (in Marion) for some of the same!!! And I'll be darned if I don't break that 10 second mark!!!!

I can't say that I don't ....OOPS!..... ""Accidently" smoke my duallies once in a while around town!

Hey, have fun, but just be safe! Yea Buddy!

Ron in N.B.

Great vid. Too much testosterone for our hyper-sensive, overly corrective, easily offended sis-bag society. HAMMER DOWN!

Good gosh... if THAT causes people any grief... they would probly vapor lock watching some of the doughnuts I crank out down at the Pamida parking lot...

Nice car... looks controlled enough to me.... isn't that one of the reasons we build them???

Even as a kid, I only did things like that on abandoned roads (that only had one way for cars to get to and went nowhere) or at the drag strip.

Those of you that are getting so defensive are only doing so because you do this as well and you know that it isn't are smart idea.

Think about this, if something went wrong and he had lost control of the car, he could have drifted into the other traffic, possibly killing an innocent motorist. Is it fair that someone else should possibly die for this childish behavior?

rolleyes Wow.

Thanks for posting, I enjoyed seeing and hearing your car. Love the notch backs! I have seen a lot of dangerous things on the street. Drunk drivers, inexperianced drivers, tired drivers, angry road rage drivers, rush hour ralley racers. Yes, a couple of 11 second cars drag racing around a blind corner is dangerous... You are OK with me. Upgrade your brakes and suspention and let it rip. Keep it under control.

Quite frankly, I am more worried about second hand cigarette smoke. Ehostler, you dont smoke, do you?
