He he he Well, I hope you didn't break something.

Theres adds in the mags for mounts (Sandwhich type) that interlock so they don't rip apart. The more you pull on them, the more locking pressure they make.

Now where O where did I see them Come on man, where did ya see'em, think think think think
I can't remember!
Someone help me here! Aughrrghghregui It's killing me....

it's 'ads' not 'adds'.

Check Mopar shows. There is this guy who sells motor mounts with a lifetime warr. supposidly the same mounts as Year One.

Well, here in CA he does. Spring/Fall fling.

Schumacher at www.engine-swaps.com is one source and another vendor in So-Cal, seen him at the Spring Fling car shows. could also be at Ponoma or Long Beach swap meets.

Regardless of the mounts you use, I would recommend a torque-strap to the frame rail anyway! I have poly spool mounts with a strap (Later A-body k-member) and will have one with the solid mounts that my next project will have. (Earlier style A-body k-member.) I prefer spreading the load out while keeping movement to a minimum.

You better "change out" your spelling.

I buy the rubber mount from napa and when its in the sleeve i fill in around the mount with clear silicone caulk it strengthens the mount and doesnt allow as much flex and not beat you to death driving it. sounds back yard but it definitly helps.

Default For street........

I would use a good rubber mount and a torque strap adjusted to catch tension on hard accelaration. This stops the vibration and still protects the motor mounts.

Have a look lower on this page. There is a home brewed fix to preventing rubber mounts from seperating. 2 grade 8 bolts thru the mount. I will definately be doing this. I will likely get rid of my torque strap.
