QUICK questions, oil pan

In need of quick reply.

Do the notches on the pan rail gaskets go toward the back or the front of the engine?

Do I need both the rubber seals, front and rear for my Milodon 8 qt pan on my 360? I heard silicon is recommended...

I use the rubber gaskets on all my pans, but I use stock or Kevko Pans too. Don't think it matters on that gasket though, but double check for sure.

Don't use a four piece kit oil pan gasket, I didn't this is what I used for $27.95

place it on the motor make sure it aligns install pan and go.
