Default Clutch slave and M/C

My Girling style master cylinder has gone kaput on my car for the clutch. Any suggestions on a replacement? The master/slave combo I got with the kit never had quite enough throw to operate the clutch properly as I couldn't leave enough clearance on the throwout bearing. The current M/C bottoms out at 1.25" and I am not sure on the slave.

I use Wilwood masters and a slave that works a stock clutch fork. You wont have any troubles getting it adjusted with this set up.

That would be part numbers 260-1333 (slave) and 260-1304, correct?

Thanks for the info.

I think the master kit is the WIL 260-3372 and the slave is WIL 260-1333 and the stainless feed line is LON 2805.

You use that with a stock clutch fork and you wont have any more problems.

Thanks. I hads the same cheap generic M/Cs for the front and rear brakes on the car too. They are both Wilwood remote masters now.

Welcome. Hope you have bigger bore masters on the brakes and not the 5/8 that's in the kit I mentioned for the clutch master.

1" on the front discs and 1 1/8th" on the rear drums. The balance is pretty good so I didn't have to set the balance bar too far one way or the other. Originally, they were all three 5/8ths bore. No power booster on a 2460# car allows easy modulation and lots of feedback on them too.

I don't see the individual masters like I have listed any more. I hope I can get a rebuild kit some years down the road if I need them. The headers run within 1/4 inch under the masters with a heat shield between them.

Man 1/4 is close. Hope you wrapped the headers and have some high temp fluid in there. I have a place that has lots of rebuild kits. I'd almost say that finding a kit for yours is not a problem.
