Default Tru-Arc piston pin locks

hi,I'm installing a set of forged TRW pistons(L2316) in my 340 with only one (not double) Tru-Arc pin lock per side .What is the right way to install the locks : with the flat side (sharp edge) facing the pin or with the sharp edge facing the cylinder wall ?

Thank you in advance.

Default

Sharp edge towards the cylinder wall, that way the sharp edge will dig into the groove when the pin puts pressure on it.
