Confused Transmission cooler in a B-Body

I just got this cooler
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...RK%3AMEWN%3AIT

but have no idea where it could be mounted. It seems like it would be easier to mount if the brackets were running along the side of the cooler rather than across the top. I guess I didn't think this out too much before I bought it. Does anyone have an experience or suggestions on a good location to mount this cooler? A pic of one mounted in a 68-70 b-body would really be a lot of help. Thanks.

THe only place you can mount it is in front of the rad. It needs clean unheated air. IF you mount it behind the rad or engine bay it will only see hot air that is not moving. You must also attach it inline with the regular rad coolerr to get the most out of it. You always mount the two inline together .

I'd like to add, I use the cooler after the stock cooler. Since the stock cooler is under/attached to the rad, I figured it is probably still a hot place. No sense running the fluid out of the cooler area addition into a hot rad cooler I think.
Even if the stock cooler flows well and cools well, sending the fluid to another cooler infront of the rad. should just about feel like a cool drink to the tranny by the time it gets back.

Good point to add. The air to oil cooler should always go after the water to oil cooler found in the rad.

Default Advantage plus

Running the tranny fluid through the built in cooler in the radiator also helps keep the fluid warmer during very cold conditions. Helps the tranny lubricate better.

I guess my question is more "how" is it mounted? I have a good idea of approximately where I want it but can not figure out how to bolt it up. Like I said the bracket seems to run the wrong way. What can I bolt it to?

local parts store should sell a plastic trap kit to install it. Goes through the fins.
