Default Holley Carb.

I am looking to find the right Holley for my nostalgia project. My question stems from a road test in an old Hot Rod magazine. In it, Chrysler engineers install some parts from their Direct Connection program on a 1969 Plymouth Road Runner. The Carburetor they used is a Holley 780 CFM carb. The Chrysler part number is #2836172. A quick check on eBay showed there are a number of Holley 780 carbs with different part numbers designated for GM and Ford applications. So my question is, what is the Holley part number of the 780 CFM carburetor that the Chrysler Corporation utilized in the late 1960s and early 70s under their Direct Connection program?

RR3834bbl, I realize that your question is more of a restoration question, but alot of our carb experts here post mainly in the performance forum, so I figured I'd bump your topic up here in hopes of getting a quicker answer for you..

I would wager that the carb in question is a Holley 3310, they were very popular in that time period and used on just about everything.

Yep, the original 3310 was rated at 780 cfm, current versions are rated at 750 cfm.

The 3310 was original equipment on the '65 396 Chebbie and was so popular they made a -1 version for the aftermarket.
