I have a 6x9 Chrysler infinity speaker from my 95 Ram Van that I suspect is bad. Found out that when I turned on the radio the fuse that controlled the horn amd speakers blew. Relaced fuse and disconnected speakers turned on radio and plugged in speakers one by one and drivers door speaker blew circuit. They have 4 wires and would like to try to replace with another speaker of the 2 wire type . Which wires are power wire for the amplified infinity's and which 2 wires are for the speaker itself. I don't beleve it to be the head , would a bad channel blow the fuse??

Your speaker plug has 4 wires, the outside 2 are the power for the amp built into/onto the speaker. The inside 2 are your signal +/- from the radio. If you put a non-amplified speaker in its place, the sound level will be lower. My advise is to go to a junk yard and find another speaker to replace the bad 1, or go buy a new one.
