On my 69 road runner I want to get rid of the outside radio antenna. A friend of mine said to just hook it up and lie it down in the trunk. He said it will still pick up radio stations. I have seen cars with their antennas torn offand they still get receptions. So I tend to believe him. I don't want to use a power antenna. Will this work or do you have any better susgestions? Any help would begreatly appreciated.
Thank You Joseph |

FM will probably still work, but AM will be non-existent.
There's a company out there that makes in-glass antennas that look like rear window defroster lines. The best example of this is the late 70's/early 80's Chev Malibu. Don't even bother trying this you will get better AM reception, but will make the FM signal worse and staticy. |
