Chrysler radio compatibility with CD changers
(Somehow I put this question first on front wheel drive chat..?? Here it is again in better place):
I have an original Chrysler RDS radio in my car. The part number is P05269484AB. The supplier code is 26777. It was made in Japan. Who is the actual manufacturer? This radio is probably from year 1996 or so. It has CD changer controls and my actual question is: is this radio compatible with some general CD changer, e.g., Philips, Pioneer etc? The original Chrysler changer costs strawberries here (about 600 US dollars!!!) I got one answer saying that converter wiring harnesses are available. For which jukeboxes? Does anybody know the actual manufacturer of this radio. Does someone happen to know the wiring order of the CD player connection in the radio? |
