Does you amp have high level inputs?
If it does all you have to do is splice into the factory speaker wires and hook them up into the high level input, as long as your dak doesn't have a factory amp. If it does you'll have to splice into the factory wires right on the back of the deck rather than just off of the rear speakers, which is much easier. If your amp doesn't have high level inputs you will have to get a high level to rca converter. They are cheap to buy, you can even get them from Wal-mart for like $10. To hook this is the same thing as above, you just put your high levels in and it converts them to a clean RCA out put that you run to your amp. Jon |

Only my Opinion
From my experience:
Buying the cheapest line level to RCA converter you can find is not the way to go. I finally when to a custom install shop and bought a gold plated one for about $40. No more alternator buzz and a better sound in my opinion. Also, the infinity systems with the amp don't use the same low level input as an off-the-shelf amplifier. I was told it is a higher voltage, so you must use a converter after it comes out of the amp, then back down to the RCA signal level and into the added amp. Typically, you get what you pay for if you do a little price comparison on identical products. Quality is usually associated with price. If your hearing is bad enough you can't hear quality, why spend the money on a system? You can take that as you want, I am just adding my two cents, since I don't get here very often to contribute. |

He doesn't need an high level to rca converter because his amp has high level inputs.
And you definetally do NOT want to run the output signal of one amp in to the high level input or rca of another, the signal will be to strong and cause damage, I had a friend that learned that the hard way. Jon |
