Foam Speaker Baffles
Does anyone here recommend using baffles when installing component speakers in a Ram Q-Cab? I'm putting JL 6.5's in the front and 5.25's in the rear. Just curious if anyone's used them and if there is enough clearance for installing them. Thanks!

If you are putting the speakers in your doors you should run the baffles just to keep water off them. They will also help the sound a little. Just remember to use a baffle board to fill in the rest of the gap left when you remove your factory 6X9s or your new speakers will have no midbass. You should have tons of room for your new speakers and the baffles.

Thanks landtacht67! I just bought some from Crutchfield. They should arrive next week and then I can get started on my install. Yeehaa!
