Help Chrysler Stratus (Cirrus) and bi-wiring

Hi,

I have a 97 Chrysler Stratus (european Chrysler Cirrus), and I have a question about the wiring for the rear speakers.
The original speakers is connected with two sets of wires for each speaker (bi-wiring), one for low freq. and one for high freq. (Picture)

I have installed a new set of speakers (Infinity Ref. 6953i) and they only have one connector. I tryed to connect both sets of wires on the same connector, but it did'nt work very well.
Does anybody know a workaround/solution for this ?

If your new Infinity speakers are a component system, you should hook up the tweeter to the high freq. and hook the low to the woofer. If it isn't a component system, your out of luck I think.

I don't have a component system :-(

But I connected only the pair of cables for the woofers and it sounds OK, I have Infinity Ref. 655i in front so together it sounds pretty nice, even if I only use the originaly mounted radio.

Well, I guess I have to find me a new head unit soon.

You may be able to get by with just replacing your factory amp.
It is probably located in the trunk on the driver's side behind the floor covering material.
Good luck!
