"95 dakota subs/6x9's
hey all,
has anyone ever put 6x9's in a dakota?whats involved?is there enough"meat"to cut out to put 6x9's in the back?5x7 is stock. i hate to take everything apart to find out that it won't work. also what options are there for putting subs in my baby?i don't want a big box in back, cause i wouldn't have anywhere for my babies to sit.i've thought alot about all this and came up with a few ideas:take out floor storage boxes and raise seat a few inches for a small enclosure with maybe 8's but will this sound crappy? and how do you raise the seat?do the jl boxes fit older dakotas? i've looked in several dakota fix it books(chiltons etc) and there isn't a good diagram for the interior. thanks for the help |

do what i plan on doing. add bucket seats and then get the sub box/arm rest for a bigger truck like a tahoe or something. it even has cup holders in it. put that right in the middle of the seats. then you still have room to recline.
