1966 dart
I am looking to install a CD player into my '66 dart, but I am trying to keep it looking AS '66 or late sixties early 70's as possible. Should I install the AM radio and have it remodulated for FM, and install a hidden CD player, or just bite bullet and have fancy new CD player/radio installed and have it look out of place?
What are my options? Caesar |

Leave the stock one in it and carry a portable so you don't ruin the value of this rare antique.

That's exactly what I'm planning on doing. I'm going to get the original refurbished so that it works, but I'm getting a custom hidden one installed so I have modern conveniences.

Here's what my brother did in his cuda. He left the stocK radio in place then put an aftermarket stereo in the glove box. Just be sure to get one with a remote so you're not reaching over to the glove box when you want to make adjustments.

Tuning In
In my 64 I have installed a detachable face cassette stereo in the glove box, with a 6 disk under the seat. And I have the face from the stereo to the sunvisor on the drivers side, you can't see it with the visors up. The 6 disk changer has a remote face already for using the remote, mounted behind the face of an old factory stereo. Kinda out of the sight of others but there for my enjoyment.
