Default Wiring Help

Hi I am in dire need of some help we are putting in a new radio in a 2001 Chrysler concorde lhs there is an extra plug in we think is stopping the radio from working its purple with a yellow stripe that plugs into the stock radio is there a way to bypass this wire????

VT/YL??? is it in the small white 2 pin connector...if so its not your problem that wire is the PCI BUS wire for the factory radio to talk on the BUS to recieve the steering wheel control commands. It will work just fine without it, aftermarket radios arent capable of working on Chrysler communication BUS so there is no need to hook it up to anything, because it will "kill" or shut down the BUS system communication if you do and turn on all sorts of nifty warning lights in the dash.
