weak brakes
when pulling the new car out so i could sweep under it I found that there is good pedal pressure, but ive just about got to stand on the pedal to stop it. I have a stock diplomat master, and all stock dip brakes. no prop valve, just a T.(rear has an adjustable). the pedal is home made. the push rod is like 4" below the pivot, and the pedal is about another 10" below that. is the push rod too far from the pivot? I havn't got a stock pedal around that I can mesure.

push rod length?
Only thing I can think of is the pushrod length may not be long enough? May want to check that.

VERY MUCH ! I was thinking I would need to get the top pivot closer to the push rod. I am only getting like an inch of travel at the pedal before the brakes get really firm. they just don't do much. Im happy to know I was on the right track. sometimes its really hard to just guess this stuff. I really wish i could get the pedals farther right in the car. they are like an inch off but im stuck with what i have for now.
