Default showing the tube chassis how its done

so my track has been on a summer brake since July 4th so I took the opportunity to swap to the Magnum heads. last sat night was the first time I ran the car with the new heads. I had little to no practice due to trying to fix a oil leak from the intake but still managed to beat my fastest lap time by a tenth were every one else had dropped two or three tenths since last race. stated in last out of 13 cars and after one lap I had worked my way into 8th. all though I was not able to finish the race do to the oil leak, I had every one wondering were I found so much more speed in the 6 week we were off. cant wait tell next race to see what this car can really do once the oil leak is fixed.

Way to go Mike. Glad you found some extra HP. Hopefully you don't run to good and make them change the rules.

Did you build that Challenger body yourseff? I'd like to make next season's DLM look a bit different than the std. dirt car. Thinking of a Challenger roof from AR and maybe even a Challenger nose.

yes I did. I used my factory duster roof and then the noise piece is from arb bodies. the rest of the body is pretty much done the same way as any fab bodied dirt hobby stock. Started with aluminum sheet bent a few body lines to match the look of the car.
