Default Flex plate

Keeping internal balance and external balance in mind is a small block flex plate interchangeable with the big block for 727 ?
I am at work away from home and arguing with my machine shop on my stroker thanks

Flex plates interchange. The torque converters are weighted different.

There are 6 bolt and 8 bolt flex plates though.

Thanks I new I had not lost my mind long story but they rebalanced my big block with a 360 mag flex plat external balanced I wont bore you with all the details but never never never let a chevy machine shop touch a mopar I new better I thank you for re-assuring me I will be back on the phone tomorrow with them

360 Magnum flexplates after 1996 have a weight welded to the flex plate. And torque converter holes are symmetrical.

If you are going to use a 360 magnum flex plate with the weight welded to it, on your big block. You will need to oblong one hole to bolt to a torque converter without symmetrical mounting lugs.

Hope this doesn't affect your results. Didn't know we were talking magnum small blocks.
